distance, speed, power. plus whatever modifiers they have. Long bow can shoot from the farthest distance (obviously), while short bow has a much smaller range. Flatbows and deadbows fall in between.

One more to add.

Horn and Shadow bows have inherent 10% armor penetration

I have a few questions too.

What do storm bows have that makes people want them so much?

And why do people want sundering bow string so much , even though the max gives only 10% chance?

storm bow is a Fissure weapon...I believe it only drops in Fissure/Underworld...which makes it very desireable. not sure about the sundering string

Sundering string = more damage... and really making W/Mo's cry like little .....
As for Eternal, shadow, storm bows they are only in demand because they look pretty cool, but suck compared to half, short, long and flat bows. At least that is my thought on that.

i've been running some deep tests on bows for the last month, and this is something fo what i've found out:

(all tests were done with marksmanship=15, using determined shot, point blank shot, distracting shot and poison arrow; all the tested bows were clean, no mods, no upgrades while running the tests, and all of them were 14-26 dmg)

1st. all bows has different critical chances, and the best of all to do criticals is the storm bow, maybe thats the only real advantage of those bows.

2nd. playing the interrupt game, not any other bow can beat an eternal bow, i never had a fail when trying to interrupt using the eternal, while had at least 20% failed interrupts with half moon/short bows.

3rd. different bows has different accurancy, again the best on this is the storm bow, then follows the long bow, then comes the slow but steady ivory bow.

Well, those are the most remarkable findings, maybe someone else also took the time to do something similar and want to share the findings.
